Penn State Faculty Trading Cards, an idea that originated with University President Graham Spanier in 2007, are a unique way to recognize just a few of the many outstanding faculty whose research and creative accomplishments have brought special distinction to Penn State.

A joint production of University Relations and the Penn State Alumni Association, the cards are issued in double-sided sets of ten, with the front of each card picturing the faculty member being honored, and the reverse side briefly describing an achievement for which that person is widely recognized.

The cards are intended to showcase to a broad audience the scope and importance of the research and creative work that Penn State faculty have carried out, and continue to pursue.
